Translation

[Meaning] they arranged well.¹ "They fitted [matters] according to their wishes and agreed to give ten talents."²
Polybius [writes]: "the soldiers were fixing everything for the return journey home."³ Meaning they were becoming [sc. ready], they were preparing.

Ἡρμόσαντο· εὐφυῶς διετέθησαν. οἱ δὲ ἡρμόσαντο πρὸς τὴν βούλησιν καὶ συνέθεντο δέκα τάλαντα δώσειν. Πολύβιος· οἱ δὲ στρατιῶται πάντα ἡρμόζοντο πρὸς τὴν εἰς οἶκον ἐπάνοδον. ἀντὶ τοῦ ἐγίνοντο, παρεσκευάζοντο.
