Notes (5)
- cf. eta 568. For the conjugation of
ei)mi/ , see Smyth §768 (web address 1). - 1Psalm 103:31 LXX. ↩
- 2The headword is a late form of the third-person imperative of
ei)mi/ , for which this entry provides alternative explanations. ↩ - 3The participle of
ei)mi/ normally has o-grade (w)/n , epice)w/n ), but forms with epsilon are attested (see LSJ s.v.). ↩ - 4The last form in this list is authentic, with the s of the original root. ↩
- 5This form occurs in epic as a subjunctive, not as a thematic indicative. ↩
