Κρημνώδη κατανίφει· εἰ μὲν διὰ τοῦ η ἀντὶ τοῦ μεγάλα, εἰ δὲ διὰ τοῦ ι κρίμνα εἶδος ἀλεύρου, ἐξ οὗ ἡ παιπάλη γίνεται, τουτέστι τὸ ἄλευρον· καὶ τὸ λευκαίνειν παλύνειν. Ὅμηρος· ὅτε πέρ τε χιὼν ἐπάλυνεν ἀρούρας.
