Notes

  1. A man's name. Linked in Gaisford's Suda edition, as Adler notes, with the individual of this name mentioned by Nicolaus of Damascus (FGrH 90 F52), but there are several other possibilities, in both myth (the son of Athamas, killed by his father on a hunt) and history (e.g. Herodotus 4.110, Thucydides 2.67.2-3).
