Adler follows the mss which have Mantineon (attested only here), but others have Mantineion. If the latter reading were correct, this would be not a variant of or error for Arkadian Mantineia (mu 163, mu 165) but an authentic appearance of Mantineion, a city in Paphlagonia; Barringtion Atlas map 86 grid C3.
