Notes (2)
- Abridged fropm Harpokration (and Photius) s.v., commenting on [Demosthenes] 49.22
- 1An error: the month began on the fifth new moon after the summer solstice, therefore in November or October. Küster deleted this. ↩
- 2See again mu 323. The epithet is related to the verb
maima/ssw, maima/w 'quiver (with eagerness or rage)'; it is conventionally translated 'Blustery'. ↩
