Notes (2)

  1. 1The headword, presumably extracted from the quotation, is comparative (neuter plural) of peritto/s, Attic form of perisso/s; cf. pi 1326, pi 1278. ↩
  2. 2(Quotation unidentifiable.) For the Hesperides see generally OCD(4) s.v. ↩
