Goliathes, Goliath
This was a truly enormous Palestinian man, four cubits and a span [tall], wearing armor proportional to the size of his body. In the Hebrew langage the same man [is called] Goliath.
Γολιάθης· οὗτος Παλαιστῖνος ἦν ἀνὴρ παμμεγεθέστατος, πηχῶν δʹ καὶ σπιθαμῆς, ὅπλα τῆς φύσεως τοῦ σώματος ἀναλογοῦντα περικείμενος. ὁ αὐτὸς Γολιὰθ Ἑβραΐδι διαλέκτῳ.
