Notes
- This entry brings together three grammatical forms of 'Thespieus', a citizen of the Boeotian polis Thespiai (theta 276, theta 277, cf. theta 278). The gloss 'a river' is thus almost certainly a mistake: one manuscript has 'a place' (topos), but better is Bernhardy's emendation of potamos to polites, 'a citizen' (cf. alpha 26 and passim).
