Translation

[Meaning] untrustworthy.¹
Also [sc. attested is the related verb] a)pi/qhsan ["they disobeyed"] [spelled] with iota,² from the [verb] piqw= [which is] perispomenon.³
"Whom oak trees did not disobey, and the lifeless rock followed."⁴

Ἀπίθανον· ἄπιστον. καὶ Ἀπίθησαν δὲ διὰ τοῦ ι, ἀπὸ τοῦ πιθῶ περισπωμένου. ᾧ δρύες οὐκ ἀπίθησαν, ὅτῳ σὺν ἅμ' ἕσπετο πέτρη ἄψυχος.

[1] Same glossing in other lexica. The headword is either masculine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative singular of this adjective. Either way, it must be quoted from somewhere; there are numerous possibilities.
