1. As transmitted, third person plural of this middle optative form of the verb xutlo/w; if so, quoted from somewhere unidentifiable. But more probably, given the scholia thereto and parallel entries in other lexica, it should be the third person singular that occurs in Homer, Odyssey 6.80 (web address 1).
