- No such name is known, and the entry appears an error. The word
dra/pwn is explained as a synonym fordrape/ths , 'runaway slave' (delta 1503) by the following sources: Herodian Gr. 1.34 (cf. LSJ); Zonaras, Lexicon delta p.570.19; Arcadius, de Accentibus p.13.22; Theognostus, Canones §186.7. There seems no reason to doubt them.
