Translation

[Meaning] having got wet.¹ Also [sc. attested is] deuo/menos ["he getting soaked"], [meaning he] getting wet.²
Aelian [writes]: "the walls of the houses were getting soaked with blood, and gore gushed out of the floors, and they were frightening everyone out of their wits."³

Δευθέντα· βραχέντα. καὶ Δευόμενος, βρεχόμενος. Αἰλιανός· αἵματί τε δευόμενοι οἱ τοῖχοι τῶν δωματίων, καὶ ἐκ τῶν δαπέδων ἀνέβρυε λύθρον, καὶ πάντων τὰς διανοίας ἐξέπληττον.
