Translation

The [part of the day] around the setting of the sun. [sc. By contrast] dei/lh prwi/a ["early afternoon" is] the hour before lunch, or after lunch.¹ Xenophon [writes]: "when it was afternoon, a dust cloud appeared."²
And it is declined dei/lhs ["of the afternoon"].

Δείλη ὀψία· ἡ περὶ δύσιν ἡλίου. Δείλη πρωΐα, ἡ πρὸ ἀρίστου ὥρα, ἢ μετὰ τὸ ἄριστον. Ξενοφῶν· ἡνίκα δὲ δείλη ἐγένετο, ἐφάνη κονιορτός. καὶ κλίνεται δείλης.
