Translation
Meaning you will be stretched out on the ground. For stretching out the hides on the ground, so that they might not shrink and contract from the heat of the sun, they stretch them out toward their outer edges, pressing them down with pegs.

Διαπατταλευθήσῃ· ἀντὶ τοῦ ἐκταθήσῃ χαμαί. τὰς γὰρ βύρσας ἐκτείνοντες ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ἵνα μὴ συνάγοιντο καὶ συστέλλοιντο ἐκ τῆς τοῦ ἡλίου καύσεως, κατὰ τὰ ἄκρα παττάλοις κατακρούοντες ἐκτείνουσιν.
