Translation

[Used] with an accusative. [Meaning] I amass [it].
"Plato made exempt from tribute [fo/ros] those who came to study with him, but you collect tribute [dasmo/s] and take it from those willing to give it and those unwilling alike".¹

Δασμολογῶ· αἰτιατικῇ. συνάγω. Πλάτων μὲν ἀτελεῖς φόρων τοὺς παρ' αὐτὸν φοιτῶντας ἐποίει· σὺ δὲ δασμολογεῖς, καὶ παρ' ἑκόντων καὶ ἀκόντων λαμβάνεις.
