Translation
[Meaning] he who is never held responsible by his friends for a cause which does not appear, but who is pure. We [the chorus] ask not to make [him] dishonored in words, but to accept his defense. Then e)nagh= [meaning] the one subject to pollution, thus: let us see, the one who is not accursed in his friends' eyes, lest you make him dishonored in words for a cause which does not appear.
