Ἐνίστασθαι

[Meaning] to make ready, to prepare [oneself].¹ "Not to delay, but to begin the war, on the basis that, [they] having not suffered in advance, it would be necessary to make a defence of what had been achieved."²
And elsewhere: "Trajan was angry and far more determined to begin the war."³
