Translation

[Meaning he/she/it] was making to rise from dinner.¹ "When night had come [he] had called out the servants of Nannaros."²

[1] Here the headword, a pluperfect verb, is glossed with an imperfect verb. The specification "from dinner" seems to be drawn from the context of the quotation given (from which the headword is evidently taken); the headword itself implies nothing about dinner.
2Perhaps from Nicolaus of Damascus (FGrH 90). Valesius, followed by Müller, Jacoby and Adler, would assign this to a lost passage from the Strategemata of Constantine Porphyrogenitus that is referred to in Constantine's Excerpta de virtutibus I.330 at the end of a much longer quotation from Nicolaus (FGrH 90 F4) on the subject of Nan(n)aros. Now claimed by Lenfant (below) as a fragment of Ctesias, however.
