- Perfect middle-passive participle of
e)chlia/zw in the genitive plural. Same entry in some other lexica, but the earliest, Hesychius epsilon3846, has the singulare)chliasme/non (and a more explicit gloss: 'burned by the sun'). Hesychius' lemma is probably quoted, as Latte asserts, from the Septuagint (2 Kingdoms 21.13).
