Translation

[Meaning women who have been] adorned with flower-[colors], such as white lead, rouge, and the like. "We who sit beflowered, wearing saffron robes¹ and beautified, and [wearing] Kimberine straight tunics² and slippers³ [...] and alkanet⁴ and sheer dresses."

Ἐξηνθισμέναι· ἄνθεσι κεκοσμημέναι, οἷον ψιμυθίῳ, φύκει καὶ τοῖς ὁμοίοις. αἳ καθήμεθ' ἐξηνθισμέναι, κροκωτὰ φοροῦσαι καὶ κεκαλλωπισμέναι, καὶ κιμβερίκ' ὀρθοστάδια καὶ περιβαρίδας· κἤγχουσα καὶ τὰ διαφανῆ χιτώνια.
