Translation
The verb [is spelled] with a diphthong [as the first syllable]; it means I am feeling dizzy. This is what Syracusans refer to as si/elos . But the [related] noun [is] i)/liggos [spelled] with an iota. "For because of fear I am suffering from vertigo".1
