Translation

[Meaning] lie down.¹
"So sit by the tall pillar, o long ash [spear], awaiting the rites for Zeus the diviner."² And elsewhere: "sit by this noble palace, o glorious shield."³

Ἧσο· κεῖσο. οὕτω τοι, μελία ταναά, ποτὶ κίονα μακρὸν ἧσο, Πανομφαίῳ Ζηνὶ μένουσ' ἱερά. καὶ αὖθις· ἧσο κατ' ἠγάθεον τόδ' ἀνάκτορον, ἀσπὶ φαεννά.
