1. Same or similar entry in other lexica, beginning with Hesychius. The headword is second person singular, aorist indicative active, of the rare compound verb katafoini/ssw. It must be quoted from somewhere, perhaps from its only extant instance outside lexicography: Cyril of Alexandria, Paschal Letters (PG 77.561.31).
