Notes (1)

  1. Same entry in Photius, Lexicon kappa81 Theodoridis, deriving from Pausanias the Atticist (kappa4).
  2. 1Menander fr. 441 Kock (5 Sandbach) -- though NB: in Stobaeus this quotation is attributed to another play (Dagger) by another poet of New Comedy, Philemon (fr. 21 Kock and K.-A.); cf. in any event Diogenianus 5.89, Apostolius 9.23. ↩
