Translation
[A term for] the grain in Egypt. Meaning *kalu/mnios ["Kalymnian"].1 [So called] because Philadelphus2 conveyed the seed out of Kalydon.3 Apollodorus says that these are called kalu/dnai , [sc. accented] like kalu/bai ["huts"].4
