Notes
- A.k.a. Kiriath Ye'arim (Hebrew קרית יערים, present-day Khirbet Kafr Hatta), between Jerusalem and Emmaus/Nicopolis. The word קרית kiriath means "town", and is the same as the Phoenician root of Carthage, which means "New Town". Mentioned throughout the Septuagint and in (e.g.) Josephus. See also under omicron 65.
