Notes (3)

  1. cf. generally kappa 1832.
  2. 1The headword phrase approximates Homer, Odyssey 7.197 (printed in modern editions as kata\ *klw=qe/s te barei=ai, i.e. kata/ and, in line 198, nh/santo separated by tmesis). See web address 1. The gloss comes from the scholia there. Heraclides and Eustathius discuss an alternative reading kataklw/qhsi barei=a with an aorist passive subjunctive. ↩
  3. 2Attested only here. ↩
  4. 3cf. generally epsiloniota 142, epsiloniota 143, epsiloniota 144. ↩
