Notes (1)
- The headword is the aorist active participle, feminine nominative (and vocative) singular, of the verb
blw/skw , I go or come; see LSJ s.v. and other forms at mu 1192 and mu 1202. The source is taken to be Homer, Iliad 6.286 (web address 1), since the headword appears there, and, as Adler notes, scholion D to the line contains the second of the present glosses; 'she' is accordingly Hector's mother Hekabe/Hecuba.
The verb's root stem is mol-/mlo-; cf. Cunliffe s.v.blw/skw . - 1The first glossing participle is the aorist middle, feminine nominative (and vocative) singular, of the verb
paragi/gnomai , I attend upon; see LSJ s.v. The second glossing participle is the aorist passive, feminine nominative (and vocative) singular, of the verbporeu/w , I make to go; see LSJ s.v. The headword is identically glossed in the Synagoge, Photius' Lexicon (mu508 Theodoridis), and Lexica Segueriana 303.2; cf. Hesychius mu1578. ↩
