Translation
[Law] means three things: (1) The [law] was given to men through creation apart from the Scriptures; for what is invisible of God is clearly seen, [being] understood by the things that are made.1 (2) And elsewhere: "for even when the Gentiles have not the law, they are a law for themselves".2 And [there is the law] that is offered through Moses in the Scriptures for the sake of those who transgress [it]. And (3) the third [kind of law is the one] through grace. "For the law of the Spirit of life released me from the law of sin and of death".3
