Translation

Of Apamea, [i.e.] from Syria; a Pythagorean philosopher. This man is the one who criticized the thought of Plato, on the grounds that he had stolen his ideas about God and the creation of the universe from the books of Moses. And because of this he says, "For what is Plato but Moses speaking Attic?"1
