[Meaning] youthfully or decently or at the appropriate time. Aristophanes in Wealth [writes]: "little girl, you ask bloomingly." The old men are teasing the elderly woman because of the enfeebled [state] of her youthful beauty.1 Also [sc. attested is] w(rikh/n , meaning [a woman] in her prime. For w(/ra [is] one's prime, and w(rai=os [means] being at one's prime. Such nouns [are] in common use.2 Aristophanes [writes]: "finding a wood-gatherer in her prime, taking her by the middle, picking her up, throwing her down, to deflower her [katagigarta=n ]". [Meaning) to press [her] down in the grape-seeds [giga/rtois ].3
