A western Mediterranean toponym mentioned twice in Lycophron's Alexandra: line 1027 (which says that the island of Malta↗ [mu 519] is near it) and line 1034. Stephanus of Byzantium↗ s.v. quotes line 1027, after classifying Othronos as 'a city, though some [say] an island near the south of Sicily↗'.
