*peukali/mh: fro/nimos.

Notes

  1. The headword is feminine nominative singular of the adjective peuka/limos. Similar entry in Hesychius pi2018 (with three glosses: qermh/, qrasei=a and flegmai/nousa), in ps.-Zonaras (where the gloss is suneth/), and in the Etymologicum Gudianum (which appears to misconstrue the headword as an abstract noun, glossing it with fro/nhsis). Eustathius' commentary on Homer, Iliad 15.81, cites a phrase frh\n peukali/mh in the context of discussing one of Homer's four instances of the dative plural phrase fresi\ peukali/mh|si.
