Translation
[Meaning] willingly advancing towards danger. "But he was eager to help those who were at risk and craving some courageous alliance; for he considered this opportunity his own personal one."1
Greek original · Adler’s text

Notes (1)
- The headword adjective is in the genitive singular, presumably extracted from the quotation given. It literally means danger-discarding; cf. generically rho 189. The implications of that can be either unfavourable (i.e. foolhardy, reckless) or, as here, favourable.
cf. delta 514 (neuter plural), kappa 2602 (2 instances of the cognate adverb), lambda 81 = pi 2197. - 1Quotation (transmitted, in Adler's view, via the Excerpta Constantini Porphyrogeniti) unidentifiable. ↩
