Ἀλληγορία· ἡ μεταφορά. ἄλλο λέγον τὸ γράμμα καὶ ἄλλο τὸ νόημα. καὶ Ἀλληγορικοὶ ὄνειροι, οἱ ἄλλα δι' ἄλλων ἀγορεύοντες· θεωρηματικοὶ δέ, οἱ τῇ ἑαυτῶν θέᾳ προσεοικότες.
