Σημεῖα· μίλια.

Betacode
*shmei=a: mi/lia.

Notes

  1. Likewise in the Synagoge (sigma67) and Photius' Lexicon (sigma179 Theodoridis). The gloss is, or should be, Latin milia; the Suda manuscripts have mh/lia, but Kuster corrected to mi/lia. (Adler reports that ms E has keimh/lia "treasures", adopted in the editio princeps.)
For this headword in other senses see sigma 321, sigma 322, sigma 323, sigma 324, and (in the singular) sigma 325. On milia, see mu 1064 and sigma 981.
