Notes
- The form without an iota (subscript) is an adverb or else a pronoun/adjective in the dual number. Either way, an acute accent is called for. See Apollonius Dyscolus' comment on the adverb in LSJ under
tw=| :ou)/te perispa=tai ou)/te su\n tw=| i gra/fetai "it is written neither with a circumflex accent nor with an iota."
cf. a scholion on Sophocles, Electra 977, wheretw/ occurs as the feminine dual definite article.
See also tau 875 (and delta 1135 fordio/ ).
