Translation
[Opens] and a)noignu/ei ["opens up"]: [sc. used] in two ways.1
Fora)noi/gw [means] "I separate".
Also [sc. attested is the phrase]a)noigome/nois toi=s kth/nesin ["when the cattle are being opened"], meaning cleaved apart. Herodotus [sc. uses the phrase].2
"With the tombs being opened under a witness sun and the bones being shamefully carried out into private tombs."3
