Translation

The Diipoleia is a certain festival at Athens↗.¹
"Diipoleia-like and full of cicadas".² [The] Diipoleia [is also] called the Diasia.³ The festival was so called because there was a sacifice to Zeus Polieus.⁴

Διιπόλεια· ἑορτή τις Ἀθήνησι τὰ Διιπόλεια. καὶ Διιπολειώδη καὶ τεττίγων ἀνάμεστα. Διιπόλεια, τὰ λεγόμενα Διάσια. ἑορτὴ οὕτως ἐλέγετο, διότι τῷ Πολιεῖ Διὶ ἐθύετο.

[1] (The headword -- already at delta 1021 -- is translated here as singular, though in Greek it is (neuter) plural.) From Harpokration s.v., citing Antiphon 6 On the choreutes. The headword does not appear in the transmitted text of that speech, but Scheibe's orthodox emendation conjures it in ch.39 there.
