The Suda and ps.-Zonaras mis-present this headword ase)keu/qainon , as if it were the imperfect of a verbkeuqai/nw . However, that form would not fit the meter at Iliad 3.453; one should read aoriste)keu/qanon , as in Hesychius epsilon1373 (and Etymologicum Magnum 507.3).
