Translation

"[Knowing], knowing too well, [my life] swept through every month with many terrible and hateful pains!" Sophocles [writes this]. "And I knowing this" means I am knowledgeable about this, that I am in misery. I know that I am wretched, by this very [life] swept through with many pains; that is, by [this life] which sweeps together all the evils. Or else pansu/rtw| [means] impelled by every impulse of evils; and pammh/nw| [means] for a long time and continuous. So I am wretched, because all the pains have been swept together for us and have remained continuously.1
