Notes (2)

  1. Neuter plural.
  2. 1See I Kingdoms 19.13-16 LXX. This gloss in found also in the Synagoge and Photius' Lexicon, as well as at kappa 1323. Gaisford printed the inferior spelling kainotafi/a from these other lexica, as alphabetical order requires here. The first word of the gloss is tina/ "some" in ms F but kena/ "empty" in the others. ↩
  3. 2Interpolation of a simpler gloss, the ordinary meaning of "cenotaph." ↩
