Notes (2)

  1. The headword is in the genitive plural, as in the quotation from Sophocles.
  2. 1(No such magistracy at Athens is otherwise attested, but LSJ s.v. notes something of the kind at Selymbria.) Similarly in Photius, Lexicon omicron537 Theodoridis. ↩
  3. 2Sophocles, Ajax 512 (web address 1), and scholion. ↩
