[Meaning a] choinix.

Greek original · Adler’s text

Οἶφι· χοῖνιξ.

Betacode
*oi)=fi: xoi=nic.

Notes

  1. See LSJ s.v.: an Egyptian measure (Hebrew ephah: Leviticus 5.11 & 13, etc.). The equivalence with one choinix (for which see generally chi 590, chi 591) comes from Photius (Lexicon omicron166 Theodoridis), but wrongly; according to Hesychius (omicron433) and others it was four.
