Notes (2)

  1. 1Phallos, rather. From the scholia to Aristophanes, Birds 565, where the dative case of the headword appears (web address 1). *falhri/s is the Ionic form corresponding to Attic falari/s (LSJ s.v.). ↩
  2. 2Unattested outside lexicography. (A variant of Phalereis [cf. phi 49]?) ↩
