Notes (2)

  1. 1Abridged from Harpokration s.v. Pedaritos; he is commenting on Isocrates 6.53 (web address 1) and adds material -- the second part of what appears here -- from Theopompus (FGrH 115 F8). Poralla/Bradford, A Prosopography of Lacedaemonians p. 104. For 'harmost' see under alpha 3979; P. occupied this position in Chios. ↩
  2. 2From the dream-interpretations, in verse, attributed to Astrampsychus (alpha 4251). ↩
