Notes
- Same entry in other lexica, though there is confusion about the authentic form of the headword adjective. Kuster wanted to emend the Suda's
yiloko/rhs (yiloku/rhs , Adler reports, in ms F) toyiloko/rrhs (the reading of Hesychius and Photius) oryiloko/rshs . The adjective is attested in Callimachus, Iambi fr. 191.29 Pfeiffer (where Pfeiffer advances the possibility that the ultimate origin of the word is Attic comedy; now Comica adespota fr. 441 Kassel-Austin). cf. generally psi 73.
