Betacode
*sxh/sesqai: e)pisxeqh/sesqai.
Notes
- Likewise in the Synagoge (sigma430) and Photius' Lexicon (sigma906 Theodoridis), similarly elsewhere. The headword is future middle infinitive of the verb
e)/xw (glossed with the future passive infinitive ofe)pi/sxw , a reduplicate form ofe)pe/xw ). It is probably quoted from Homer, who uses the word several times, e.g. Iliad 9.665; cf. scholia ad loc.
