Translation

A proper name.
[The man] who first discovered bird-divination: [the fact] that for instance if a weasel or even a snake appeared in the house, this is its meaning.

Notes

  1. A faulty extract from omicroniota 163: there T. is the first writer on bird-divination (and weasels and snakes come under a different heading; cf. xi 43).
